Background

Andrés Borenstein is an associate partner at Econviews. He has been the chief economist for BTG Pactual for the last six years. Prior to that he was he economist for Spanish Speaking South America in the British Embassy reporting to Whitehall, BoE and other official entities on economic issues including the UK chair in the IMF and World Bank for over a decade. Andres is a professor at Universidad Torcuato di Tella and Universidad de Buenos  Aires and a recurrent speaker at corporate and charity events. He has been a member of several boards at corporate and NGOs. Andres has worked as a journalist in his youth at Clarin and El Economista and now broadcasts the podcast (in Spanish) “La Economía en 3 minutos“.
